Foreign Supplier Verification Programs

FSVP training courses are hosted by United Fresh and developed by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA).

FSVP Clarification: if you are importing from a country with a food safety system recognized by the FDA (Canada, Australia or New Zealand): the modification only applies if the import won’t be further processed, e.g., if you’re importing a RAC that goes to fresh-cut, you need to do full FSVP, even if the RAC is imported from Canada.
