We are the onion authority, representing America’s onion growers and its supporting industry. We compile and disseminate onion industry information and lobby for the industry’s interests in Washington D.C., as well as monitor international trade.
Our leadership tracks and participates in federal legislative and regulatory issues as they pertain to the onion industry. We work to get ourselves and our members into advisory roles to further responsible decision making.
Market Access and Promotions
Onions are our members’ livelihoods. Through a vibrant promotions program, we work to increase the visibility and consumption of onions.
Outreach and Education
We are the prime resource for onion information, from elementary school lesson plans to culinary education and recipe development from upcoming and longtime chefs. Our conventions also help members learn the latest industry innovations and regulatory changes.
Conservation and Sustainability
NOA’s members are responsible stewards of the land and the industry. They work to create sustainability in all they do; from growing material for their own bags, to generating power from onion byproducts.
