The National Onion Association plays an integral role in helping craft policy and regulation in regard to onions, agriculture and research in Washington D.C. As part of our onion advocacy, our leaders go to the Hill regularly to keep track of highly important issues of ag workforce reform, global trade, invasive species, research and funding, pesticide regulations, and agricultural issues that are important to all growers.
Our regular involvement helps us keep the onion advocacy top of mind in Washington through governmental agencies and our engagement with political leaders.
We encourage our members throughout the country to engage with us as we spread onion advocacy. Stay tuned for the next annual Washington D.C. Fly-In, and get involved!
