Greg Bennett is a third generation farmer. Together, with his sons, Tony and Ryan, and their families, they farm 300-350 acres a year in the Willamette Valley in Central Oregon, home to 250 different crops. See video here.
“I always felt there was a calling for me to farm. I like the equipment, I like machinery, I liked the soil. And I just love watching the crops grow, so I think I was destined to do this,” says Greg Bennett.
For the Bennetts farming is all in the family. “It’s important for me to continue the legacy from what I learned from my father what was passed down to him. I just want to give my kids the opportunity if they want to farm to teach them what I’ve learned,” Ryan Bennett.
