Q: Can you answer my gardening questions e.g. how to grow onions from seed, where to find seeds, how my location affects my onions plants, or how to identify an unusual onion plant in my yard?

A: Answering questions on things like how to grow onions from seed doesn't quite fall within our purview as an organization.

We recommend that you contact a local nursery, gardening center, or County Cooperative Extension Service. They have Master Gardeners that will be able to answer your specific questions.

But the National Onion Association does have some great resources for the home gardener:
