How to Cut an Onion Video

Why do your eyes water when you cut onions?

We've all been through it: Many a recipe starts with the chopping of an onion. The next few steps are accomplished through a haze of tears as the savory and pungent onion prickles our noses and sends our tear ducts reeling.

This video will not only show you how to cut an onion, it will answer that age-old question: Why do your eyes water when you cut onions?

It will also give you some suggestions on how to reduce those tears.
